Dear Birthparent,

            We appreciate you looking at and considering our family for your special little one.  As you wrestle with the decisions you will be making in the next few months, some of which may be very difficult, know that the decision to allow your child the opportunity to pursue all that life has to offer is absolutely an admirable thing to do.  You probably don't see yourself as someone's miracle but giving us an opportunity to be parents is a true miracle. We feel like we have so much to offer a baby.................

Josh and Jalyce

We have always dreamed of being parents, and where crushed when we thought that might not happen. We had such a calming feeling that no matter what, someday we would be parents. We do so many things in life that we would want to share and teach our children. Josh and I are high school sweethearts who have been married for eight years.  The minute we met I knew I had met the guy of my dreams. Our connection was immediate and we have been inseparable since then. We are best friends who know each other, laugh often, and have so much fun together. We play on a co-ed softball team every summer, we enjoy hiking, being with our family and friends, and are the type of people who just love life.

            We live in a 100 year old renovated home. It has been in my family for that long and it is the house that everyone wants. It has such character and old classic beauty. It’s the house that as a kid, I was so proud to bring people home. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It sits on a ½ an acre and has so much yard to run and play. We have a huge garden that we love to eat from and a basketball hoop to play some night ball. Our house sits 2 blocks from a park and the city library. Our home is truly the meaning of HOME SWEET HOME!!

The Big Sister- Taylee

Taylee is our adopted 21/2 year old daughter. She too is a special gift to us. We knew that adoption is something that we wanted to do. She has been our greatest blessing and Joy. She loves playing with her cousins and friends, riding her scooter, and playing with her kitchen. She is sweet and spicy, pulling the funniest faces and dancing crazy to Beyonce. She will be the best big sister.

Josh

Josh is 28 years old. He is kind hearted, gentle, hardworking and fun guy. He loves being a dad and is a wonderful husband.  He has a wonderful mom, 4 sisters and 2 Brothers. His mom lives close to us and loves being a Grandma. His Sisters and all but one brother are all married. His little brother is in 9th grade and thinks being an uncle is the coolest thing. He has 3 adorable nieces, Kiara 8, Aspen 3 and Kendyll 4months.  His family has lots of love, great traditions to share, and more than anything, an open heart for so much love to a new addition.

   Josh works as a Senior Design Drafter at an Engineering firm and has his associate’s degree in Computer aided drafting. He loves EVERYTHING sports.  He’s not the dad that just wants to sit and watch football alone, he wants the whole family in on the fun. I love walking into the room and seeing Taylee and him on the floor yelling “Touch Down”. He enjoys being outdoors, fishing, hiking and being with his family.  Josh is the dad that plays blocks and chase me games for hours. His life is his 2 girls!! He is ready and willing to open his arm’s to another child to always love, support and never let down.

Jalyce

Jalyce is 28 years old. She is funny, outgoing, loving and would do anything for her family and friends. Her parents are the most loving, supportive and caring individuals. She has 3 big brothers and 2 of them are married. She is the youngest and the only girl. Her family loves being together, Sunday dinners with Grandma and Pa Pa, and many summer vacations. She loves every one of her nieces and nephews. Donovan 10, Reilly 7, Gabi 5, Carter 3 and the twins, Jayda & Evan 1. She has a degree in Business and works as an office manager from home. Her greatest joy in life is being a mother and spending every moment with Taylee. Education is very important to her and she enjoys reading and learning more. She loves playing sports, shopping with the girls and animals. Jalyce has the personality that everyone loves to be around and makes life so fun. Taylee and her will dance and laugh, she is the person that even on a bad day makes you smile! She is a wonderful mother and has so much love to give.

Life Around Our House

What a blast we have!! We think that raising kids is a lot of fun, not an obligation. We believe that it all begins with respect. When you respect their thoughts, feelings and emotions, kids in return respect yours. Kids need to be shown their boundaries and more than anything lots of LOVE. We believe that the best thing in life is making memories with your family. Always enjoying every holiday and our family traditions. Giving your children life experiences, small to big, is what we value. If Josh and Taylee are not playing frisbee, swinging and building blocks, then Taylee and I are singing the latest “Hit Song", acting crazy or going on our morning walk. I consider our household as a happy, positive and loving environment.

It never feels like we can say enough, about who we are, our personalities, and how much love we have to give. I can tell you that we will be loving parents who want everything good this world has to offer for their children. Family is the greatest blessing and joy. In a nut shell, this quote will tell you everything we feel about our adoption journey, "Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting.
